Medical Assistant Locations: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens
Job Description:
- Patient Care: Manage patient intakes, ensuring accurate information is recorded, including vital signs, medical history, and patient concerns.
- Venipuncture & Specimen Collection: Perform blood draws, urine dipsticks, stool collection, and rapid tests such as Strep, Flu, COVID, and RSV, ensuring proper labeling and handling of all specimens.
- Diagnostic Testing: Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing, and assist in other diagnostic procedures under the direct supervision of a Physician or APP.
- Clinical Assistance: Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits and procedures, and assist providers during physical exams and in-office treatments.
- Instrument Sterilization: Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical equipment and instruments to ensure patient safety and infection control.
- Laboratory Support: Operate and maintain lab equipment such as CBC analyzers and urinalysis machines; prepare, process, and store specimens appropriately (room temp, refrigerated, or frozen).
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Medical Assistant Certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in outpatient care or lab settings.
- Proficient in EMR/LIS systems (e.g., LABDAQ).
- Reliable transportation to travel between NYCBS locations. TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR FLOAT POOL
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
- Salary: Starting at $24 per hour

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Locations: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and FLOAT POSITIONS
Job Description:
- Update and maintain the electronic medical record with up to date vital signs, patient demographics, medication reconciliation, allergies and medical diagnoses
- Manage Physician inbox messages and prioritize tasks assigned via the electronic medical record
- Assist in maintaining the medical inventory; place orders for new materials and stock rooms to ensure adequate supplies for physician staff
- Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
- Escort patients to exam rooms
Requirements:
- Current NYS LPN license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.
- Experience with EMR’s
- Reliable transportation to any of NYCBS location for patient care needs
Pay:
- Salary: Starting at $35.75 per hour based on experience

Registered Nurses Locations: Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island
Job Description:
- Administer chemotherapeutic and biologic agents, as well as supportive care medications as prescribed by a physician
- Recognize and treat cancer-related and treatment-related issues.
- Monitor and chart vital signs, document in the medication administration record
Requirements:
- Valid New York State RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with an EMR (preferred)
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing, bending and reaching
- Knowledge of standard precautions and the ability to utilize appropriate PPE when administering cytotoxic agents and handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needs
- At least 1 year of experience in an oncology outpatient center or at least 1 year of experience in administering medications preferred. At least 1 year of patient care experience REQUIRED
Pay:

- Monday to Friday (7am-7pm); 10 Hour Shift X 4 Workdays | NO Weekends
