Ready to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot this November?
The Staten Island Democratic Party is looking for Canvassers to bring a change to our government. As a Canvasser you will be on the frontlines representing the party and our candidates. You’ll be responsible for executing door-to-door canvassing throughout the borough of Staten Island.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person canvassing outreach via door-to-door canvassing
- Accurately record canvassing data
- Report back to Field Leadership
- Stay on approved messaging for the party and our candidates
- Be persuasive and motivating while talking with voters
Qualifications:
- Belief in Democratic values and empowering others
- Ability to meet goals and deadlines
- Wiling to canvass outdoors in all types of weather
- Verbal communication skills
Qualifications that are a plus (even if you don’t have any of these, please still apply!):
- Bilingual
- Past experience in direct voter contact and community organizing
