Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) under the guidance of a BCBA.
- Build and maintain a positive and trusting relationship with each child and their family.
- Implement ABA therapy programs and behavior management techniques as outlined in the client’s treatment plan.
- Collect and record data on each client’s progress, providing regular feedback to the BCBA.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working with a diverse group of children with varying needs and abilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with clients and their families.
- Adhere to scheduled shifts and always demonstrate professionalism in the workplace.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in the ABA field (preferred) but not required.
- Interested in pursuing certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by completing the 40-hour RBT training and supervision.
- Ability to provide services in-home and work directly with children.
- Availability to work after-school hours between the times of (3 PM – 8 PM) Monday-Friday and (8AM- 8PM) Weekends.
- Bilingual skills are a plus!
