- Plant Care & Garden Maintenance
- Weeding:
Regular removal of weeds to maintain healthy plant beds and aesthetics.
- Deadheading Flowers:
Removing spent blooms to encourage further flowering and plant vitality.
- Watering Containers:
Ensuring all potted or container plants are adequately and consistently
watered.
- Monitoring Plant Health:
Weekly check-ins to observe plant growth, identify early signs of stress,
disease, or pest issues.
- General Plant Knowledge:
Familiarity with plant species and their basic care requirements.
- Use of Garden Tools:
Proper handling and maintenance of hand tools and basic landscaping
equipment.
- Grounds & Pathway Maintenance
- Gravel Path Maintenance:
Raking and leveling gravel paths to ensure safe and accessible walkways.
- Sidewalk & Tree Pit
Cleanliness: Keeping sidewalks, tree pits, and surrounding areas
free of debris and obstructions.
- Cleaning & Filling Bird
Baths: Regularly emptying, cleaning, and refilling bird
baths to maintain hygiene and attract wildlife.
- Waste Management
- Trash Pickup:
Collecting litter throughout the park areas.
- Emptying Trash Bins:
Ensuring bins are regularly emptied and replaced with new liners.
- Compost Bagging:
Collecting and bagging organic material for composting purposes.
Salary or Hourly Rate
$25/hr for 4 hours each Sat and Sun (8 hours total)
